International GS Trophy 2022 Qualifier
Having won the last three International GS Trophies - New Zealand 2020, Mongolia 2018 and Thailand 2016 – as well as placing second at Canada 2014 and here at home in 2010, there’s no disputing that South Africa has the best GS riders in the world.
Now, having built a reputation as the team to beat, you’re invited to make history and add to our legacy at International GS Trophy 2022 in Albania.

That’s right, we’re looking for five riders to represent Team South Africa and the #SpiritofGS.
Regional Qualifiers
The regional qualifiers are one day events taking place between May and July 2021.
Individual riders compete in each region with the top riders invited to the National Qualifier in September 2021.
This year we’ll select a women’s team as well, with the top women from each regional qualifier invited to compete at the National Qualifier.

National Qualifiers
All riders will be invited to experience the National GS Trophy SA 2021, at a yet to be confirmed venue, but only qualifying competitors may participate.
By gathering all loyal riders, competitors and supporters at one venue, we’re fully committed to creating the biggest GS gathering in the world in 2021.
The National GS Trophy SA 2021 combines a weekend of spectacular riding, camaraderie and joy, and is an opportunity to share our passion.
The regional winners will compete over two days as individuals where the top three men and two women will form Team South Africa 2022.
