The authentic RR experience doesn’t only start on the race track. With its supersport design, the newly developed two-cylinder engine, 48 hp and a kerb weight of only 177 kg, the BMW F 450 RR brings racing DNA to your everyday life. It brings you to the starting line of the RR world and gives you the option to test your skills on every ride and keep challenging yourself.
In the M Sport variant, the riding modes Pro with the Race Pro mode helps you match your setup to your driving style more closely. The throttle response, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and Anti block system (ABS) can be configured individually. This means you decide how directly the BMW F 450 RR responds and how much intervention you want the assistance systems to perform – for enhanced control and a setup that adapts to your skills.
48 hp, only 177 kg – the BMW F 450 RR strikes the perfect balance between performance and weight for particularly agile handling. The engine takes on a load-bearing function in the frame. This allows for a compact, slim design, resulting in an additional weight reduction. The closed, hollow-cast rear swinging arm made of aluminium also reduces the weight, while also offering a high degree of rigidity. The results can be felt in every curve, thanks to the precise steering and the ability to quickly change lines.
The authentic RR DNA is clearly on show in three different looks and equipment configurations. From Cosmic Black to Racing Red, right up to Snaefell white/M Motorsport: each variant brings its own unique character to the streets. Which one will get you in race mode?
Your entryway to the world of RR comes with a comprehensive range of equipment on board. Three riding modes, ABS Pro, Dynamic Traction Control, Dynamic Brake Control and engine drag torque control offer support for your ride. On top of that, there is a 6.5-inch TFT display with connectivity, three levels of grip heating and adjustable hand levers. Everything you need for your entry into race mode.
The Sport variant in Racing red builds on the comprehensive equipment of the Cosmic black variant and supplements it with shift assistant Pro for rapid gear changes without the need to operate the clutch. With the sport suspension, you can adjust the rebound and compression stages of the fork to suit your own individual driving style. Enhanced dynamics, increased precision and more opportunities to work on your skills, ride after ride.
More performance. More possibilities. The M Sport variant adopts the performance-oriented equipment of the Sport variant and makes a clear statement with the M colour scheme, white frame and rim tapes. The riding modes Pro with Race Pro expands your setup to include settings that can be configured individually and three additional Sport screens on the TFT. The optional Easy Ride Clutch, which is available as part of the innovation package, allows you to drive off and stop without the need to operate the clutch. The most comprehensive variant of the BMW F 450 RR – your entryway into race mode.
